Title:   CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS PRINCIPLES IN HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT; AN INSIGHT INTO CATALYTIC CHRISTIAN VIRTUES

Abstract
This paper describes Christian Cardinal Virtues as catalytic principles of Christian conduct. It
argues that Christian Cardinal Virtues have become principles or guidelines to Christian moral
action. It is capable of transforming the human capital inherent in the individual Christian.
Christian imbibed virtues or learned habit should transcend the scope of belief and inertia to a
position of being a catalyst for human capital development. This work is of the opinion that this
transcendence or transformation of Christian moral virtues will produce in the Christian adherent
fruit and successes necessary in this present time. The paper adopted hermeneutics as its
interpretative model. It found out that some Christian adherents have not come to the awareness
that Christian virtues are catalysts for human capital advancement. This can remain dormant and
less productive unless they are taken as principles of human daily actions. It suggests that
Christian believers should harness and develop their natural talents for perusal community gain.
